Resumen de las competencias del equipo de Canadá en el décimo día de los Juegos Olímpicos Paris 2024. Hasta la fecha Canadá tiene 5 medallas de oro, 4 de plata y 8 de bronce,

ATHLETICS:

  • Alysha Newman(Delaware, Ont.) advanced to the women’s pole vault final.
  • Jean-Simon Desgagnés (Saint-Ferréol-les-Neiges, Que.) advanced to the final of the men’s 3000m steeplechase.

3×3 BASKETBALL:

  • Canada’s women’s 3×3 basketball team finished in fourth place in their first Olympic appearance. 3×3 made its Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, but no Canadian teams qualified for the tournaments.

BEACH VOLLEYBALL:

  • Melissa Humana-Paredes (Toronto, Ont.) and Brandie Wilkerson (Toronto, Ont.) advanced to the women’s beach volleyball quarterfinals with a straight sets win over Team USA’s Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss today.

CYCLING – TRACK:

  • Canada finished eighth in the women’s team sprint, matching its best Olympic result set at Rio 2016.
