En Toronto 81,557 infractores captados por cámaras de control automático de velocidad

TORONTO.-  En los primeros tres meses del 2021, las cámaras automáticas de control de velocidad instaladas en 50 lugares de Toronto han emitido 81,557 sanciones por exceso de velocidad a conductores que pasaron frente al lente.

Los 50 dispositivos de control de velocidad automatizado (ASE) de la ciudad de Toronto se están reubicando ahora para comenzar a hacer cumplir la ley en la tercera ronda de ubicaciones en junio.

 Esto ayudará a reducir el exceso de velocidad en más áreas con problemas de seguridad, fomentará un efecto disuasorio de amplio alcance y aumentará la conciencia pública sobre la necesidad de reducir la velocidad y obedecer los límites de velocidad publicados en las vías.

Se han colocado señales de advertencia en todas las ubicaciones nuevas para advertir a los conductores con anticipación.
