Gobierno de Ontario destinó 19 millones de dólares para apoyar festivales y eventos

El gobierno provincial de Ontario mediante su programa “Supporting Communities and Creating Jobs en Ontario” designó la suma de 19 millones de dólares para apoyar a un número record de festivales y eventos en toda la provincia, con el fin de atraer a los turistas, crear empleos y hacer crecer la economía.
A través del programa “Celebre en Ontario 2015” la provincia está ayudando a 270 festivales y eventos, el número más alto en la historia de este programa que es para celebrar la diversidad y el patrimonio cultural en Ontario.
Este apoyo ayuda a los organizadores a mejorar su programación y servicios para atraer al público y generar empleo en el sector turístico.

Ontario Investing $19 Million to Support Local Festivals and Events
Province Supporting Communities and Creating Jobs. Ontario is supporting a record number of festivals and events across the province that will draw tourists, create jobs and grow local economies.
Through the Celebrate Ontario 2015 program, the province is helping 270 festivals and events, the highest number in the history of the program, celebrate Ontario’s diversity, heritage and culture. This support will help organizers enhance programming and services, attract new audiences and create jobs in the tourism sector.
Helping local festivals and events grow and prosper supports the government’s economic plan for Ontario. The four-part plan is building Ontario up by investing in people’s talents and skills, building new public infrastructure like roads and transit, creating a dynamic, supportive environment where business thrives and building a secure savings plan so everyone can afford to retire.
