Justin Trudeau dio a conocer su nuevo gabinete

REDACCION ST.- El primer ministro de Canadá, Justin Trudeau, dio a conocer los nombres de sus próximos ministros y ministras, quienes tendrán la responsabilidad de trabajar para ir cumpliendo las promesas de la campaña electoral del partido Liberal, como son el cambio climático, promover la prosperidad de la clase media,  vivienda,  salud y transporte público, mientras intenta calmar las tensiones regionales exacerbadas por el resultado electoral del 21 de octubre 2019.

“El día de las elecciones, los canadienses optaron por seguir avanzando. De costa a costa, las personas optaron por invertir en sus familias y comunidades, crear buenos empleos de clase media y luchar contra el cambio climático mientras mantienen nuestra economía fuerte y en crecimiento”, dijo Justin Trudeau.

“Los canadienses enviaron el mensaje de que quieren que trabajemos juntos para avanzar en los temas que más importan, desde hacer que sus vidas sean más asequibles y fortalecer el sistema de salud, hasta proteger el medio ambiente, mantener a nuestras comunidades seguras y avanzar en la reconciliación con los pueblos indígenas.  La gente espera que los parlamentarios trabajen juntos para entregar estos resultados, y eso es exactamente lo que hará este equipo de trabajo” añadió el mandatario.

Born and raised in Winnipeg, he will ensure that the people of Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba have a strong voice in Ottawa.  

Pablo Rodriguez will be assuming the responsibility of Quebec Lieutenant.

Canadians expect their Parliamentarians to work together on their behalf. Under the leadership of Government House Leader Pablo Rodriguez, the following team will work with all parties to make progress on the priorities that matter most to Canadians:

The Prime Minister also announced changes to the structure and mandate of the Cabinet committees to reflect Canadians’ top priorities. The new list of Cabinet committees is as follows:
